Gearing up for new season

We at Newbridge Vision Centre are gearing up for a busy new season of activities beginning in September. Apart from our regular users – Slimming World, the Army Cadets and Sensiplay – an important date on the horizon is 28 November when the Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations (GAVO) ‘One Beat’ event will be held at the Vision Centre. The popular exhibition, last held at the venue in November 2017, offers a shop-window for the invaluable community services provided by a range of enterprising organisations and groups in the Caerphilly County Borough Area.

Located in Newbridge town centre, the Vision Centre is served by good bus links between Blackwood, Newport and Pontypool while Newbridge Rail Station, on the Ebbw Vale to Cardiff line, is only a short walk away. The high standard accommodation is ideal for meetings, training sessions, hot desking and small and large group activities. WiFi is available. We are pleased to announce that the normal hire rate per room is being held at £12 an hour for a third consecutive year. Plans are afoot to hold an Open Day in October when a revamped brochure and new street signage will be unveiled.

If you are interested in hiring the facilities or want more information please contact Geoff Champion on 07889 798314 or geoffrey_champion@sky.com or Tabernacle Baptist Church on 01495 243793.
